We're excited to share a major milestone for DRIFTERS City Bike Share—our custom bicycle fleet is officially in production!

Working alongside our incredible partners at PRIORITY Bicycles, the bikes have successfully completed the main production stage, and the custom build-out and finishing design are now underway. Every bike is being built specifically for St. Augustine, creating a fleet that reflects our city's unique character while delivering a comfortable, reliable, and low-maintenance riding experience.

With production moving full speed ahead, we're one step closer to launching St. Augustine's first locally owned and operated public bike share system this October. We can't wait to unveil the finished bikes and watch them become part of everyday life for residents and visitors exploring our beautiful city.

The countdown is on—stay tuned as we continue sharing behind-the-scenes updates on the journey to launch!

What makes these "custom"?

This project has been more than a year in the making. Working closely with the incredible team at Priority Bicycles, we've obsessed over every detail to create a bike that's built specifically for St. Augustine.

From every bolt, cable, spoke, pedal, sprocket, grip, and gear to the overall fit, finish, and styling, every component has been intentionally selected for maximum durability, reliability, and rider comfort. The result is a fleet that's not only engineered to handle years of everyday use, but also looks as good as it rides. We can't wait for you to see them rolling through the streets of St. Augustine.

Will all of the bikes be done and ready for the October launch?

The short answer, YES. As long as certain international waters allow our containers to ship, we will be ready to launch with our complete fleet of 80 pedal bikes and 10 pedals assist bikes.

What is the bike design going to be?

We wanted these bikes to feel like they truly belong in St. Augustine. The design brings together the City's iconic crest with the DRIFTERS brand to represent what this program is all about—locals coming together to build something special.

The clean white frame gives the bike a timeless, classic look, while subtle gold accents highlight our signature three-bar "E" found across the entire DRIFTERS fleet. It's just enough to give the bikes their own personality without being loud or overdone.

We weren't trying to create something flashy—we wanted something you'll be proud to see riding through the streets of St. Augustine for years to come. Classic, clean, and unmistakably DRIFTERS. Check out the photos above to see all the little details that make these bikes one of a kind.
