This Privacy Policy explains what information Drifters City Bike Share collects when you visit drifterscitybike.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Drifters City Bike Share is operated by DRIFTERS Beach and Bike Rentals LLC, a Florida company. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Drifters City Bike Share, and "you" means anyone who visits the site.
Riding is different. You rent and ride our bikes through the Drifters City Bike app, and the app has its own privacy policy. Section 6 explains where to find it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers drifterscitybike.com and any email we send you after you sign up on the site. It does not cover the Drifters City Bike app, your rides, or the payments you make for them. Those are covered by the app's privacy policy and the rider agreement you accept in the app.
2. Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Email sign-up. If you join our email list, we collect your email address and any other details the form asks for.
- Forms and messages. If you fill out a form on the site or email us, we collect your name, contact details and whatever you write.
3. Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar tools:
- The pages you visit, how long you stay, and the link or search that brought you here.
- General device and browser details, such as browser type, screen size, language and approximate location (city or region, not your exact position).
We use this to understand how people use the site so we can make it better. Our Cookie Consent Policy lists the cookies involved.
4. How we use your information
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To send launch news, updates and offers if you signed up for email.
- To see which pages are useful and fix the ones that are not.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, and we do not use advertising pixels or ad-tracking on this site.
5. Services we use to run the site
A few outside services handle data on our behalf. Each one has its own privacy policy.
- Webflow hosts the website and stores any form you submit.
- Google Analytics measures site traffic and how pages are used.
- Klaviyo manages our email list and sends our emails.
- Mux streams the videos on the site and measures playback quality.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our riders or the public, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
6. Ride, location and payment data
The Drifters City Bike app runs on the Movatic bike-share platform. When you create an account, unlock a bike, ride, or pay, that information is collected through the app, including your location during a ride and your payment details. This website never sees your card number.
The app's privacy policy explains what is collected and how it is used. You can read it at legal.movatic.co/privacy-policy. If you have a question about your ride data, you can still contact us and we will help.
7. Marketing emails
If you sign up, we will send you emails about the bike share. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it any time. You can also email us and we will take you off the list. We may still contact you about a message you sent us.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your email sign-up until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep messages and form submissions as long as we need them to help you, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in our Google Analytics account and is used in summary form.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you marketing emails.
Email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
10. Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Riders must be 18 or older. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use trusted providers and limit who can see your information. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the bike share grows. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or by email.
